Children’s Church
We prayerfully desire to assist parents in spiritually raising their children in finding personal salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we seek to help parents establish a life - long Biblical pattern of day by day fellowship with their Savior.
The ultimate aim of our Children’s Church is not to keep the children and youth isolated from the main assembly for the duration of their youth, but to have them become aware that their ultimate place in the Church of Jesus Christ is with the main assembly, and not to spend their entire young Christian life in a "Youth Ministry". Depending on the grade of your child, they will, from time to time, join you for the adult Sunday service.
Calvary Chapel Chidren's Church
Nursery
Two adult women care givers will attend to your infant's needs. There is a diaper changing area, as well as supplies available. An enclosed "corral" area with toys is also available for the babies that are at the crawling stage.
Toddlers:
Our toddlers are cared for by two adult women workers or an adult with an older teen girl. This combination along with various toys will keep your toddler occupied and happy while you attend the main church service.
Pre-K:
Children are instructed in the Bible through a simple lesson via a coloring sheet lesson that progresses through the Bible. The teacher will also help the children enjoy the games, puzzles and various interactive toys in their own classroom. Specially scheduled Bible Puppet Dramas and special Praise Sundays are also enjoyed by this grade level.
K - 2nd:
Children are taught the Bible in a simple lesson using the Calvary Chapel Children's Curriculum. Our adult teacher also helps the children in enjoying their time with various interactive toys and games. Specially scheduled Bible Puppet Dramas and special Kid's Praise Sundays are also enjoyed by this class.
3rd - 6th:
Children are taught the Bible in a more advanced lesson using the Calvary Chapel Children's Curriculum. Our adult teacher also sees to it that the children enjoy various toys, and games such as Foosball and Air Hockey.
4th - 9th:
"His Daughters": Once a month, this "Girls Only" class will teach on the Godley principles of growing up as a young lady in Christ. The girls in these grades will be instructed in making Christ-centered life decisions, as well as making God their first priority in life. These lessons are even geared to impact the critical decisions regarding God's "standards" as they relate to marriage, child raising and other issues that relate to day to day living as they grow into women of God. Their teacher is a living role model of these virtues.
7th - 9th:
Twice a month, this grade is taught the Bible through an in depth application of Bible truths for their lives, taught by a church Elder and an Associate Pastor. The young people will also enjoy Fooseball and Air Hockey during their class time. In order to have these young people grow to look forward to becoming a vital part of The Church, they will at times, join the adults in the main service.
10th - 12th:
These grades will be spending most of their "church time" with the adults in the main Sunday service. They will also enjoy their own monthly Breakfast Fellowship at a local restaurant that takes place while the adults are in church. The young people in these grades are escorted during breakfast by an Associate Pastor and a lady of the ladies leadership.
